[Demo] Test Before You Build: Low-Cost Ways to Check an Idea

Many teams spend months building a new service or program before they find out whether anyone wants it. By then, changing course is expensive and hard to explain to leadership.

This half-day workshop shows you how to check an idea first. You will learn simple ways to find out what your members, customers or community actually need, and how to run a small test that costs little and takes days, not months.

By the end of the session you will be able to:

  • Write down the assumptions behind your idea so you can check them
  • Choose a low-cost test that fits your budget and timeline
  • Read the results honestly, including when they say "no"
  • Report what you learned to your leaders in a clear one-page summary

Who should attend: Association managers, government program leads and business owners who are considering a new service, event or program and want evidence before they commit funds.
